Torah Umadda: The Unwritten Chapter (L’Eylah)
Torah Umadda, the combination of Jewish Jewish learning with secular knowledge, is the motto of Yeshiva University. In his book of the same name, Rabbi Norman Lamm has both analysed and defended the philosophy behind the phrase.
