I Believe is a personal and intimate demonstration of how Rabbi Sacks came to see the world through listening attentively to the Torah and its message for the present and all times. This is the latest book in the Covenant & Conversation series of themed books, written by Rabbi Sacks on the weekly Torah portion. The essays were written by Rabbi Sacks, week by week in 2020, and each one ends with a powerful statement of faith. They were published online by his team, and translated into 8 languages. Audio recordings of each essay are also available.
Other themes within the Covenant & Conversation series include Ethics, Leadership, Spirituality, and Life-Changing Ideas. One chapter per parsha, one book per theme. Rabbi Sacks also published volumes of parsha essays, one for each of the 5 books of the Torah (Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy) each book containing multiple essays per sedra.
The new book contains a foreword written by President of Israel, Isaac Herzog.
